Southdown Performing Arts Centre (SPACe) is a Christian community space based in the former Southdown Methodist Chapel in Harpenden. It’s run by the West Hertfordshire and Borders Methodist Circuit, and offers an affordable, inclusive space for people to explore life and faith through performing arts.
SPACe has a varied programme of events including touring theatre productions, Christmas & Easter events, jazz evenings & other musical concerts, Friday afternoon entertainment.
The SPACe Children’s Drama Club offers a safe place where children can use their imaginations in a supportive environment and learn theatre skills, having fun, and gaining self-esteem and confidence in the process.
